Eric D. Echols is a founding partner of TFP Company, LLC. Eric began his career at 16 years old by completing a protective services program taught by the Detroit Police Department before graduating high school. As a veteran Marine of the Marine Security Force, he was always trained to protect and serve.  Once completed his enlisted years with the Marines, he began a career in loss prevention and security.

He has more than 30 years of experience in the hotel, retail, and food industry. He has had the opportunity to work with several Fortune 500 companies as a Trainer, Manager, Regional Investigator, Regional Loss Prevention Director, Southeast Divisional Vice President, and Director of Loss Prevention. Eric is a Certified Forensic Interviewer (“CFI”), and his interview and interrogation expertise in retail, criminal and civil investigations, employee theft, premises liability, personal injury, and security negligence make him one of the best in the field of private investigations.

Eric has conducted training throughout the country and is the published author of The Echols Files: Catoosa County Justice, as well as, published articles on topics related to premises liability, conducting dishonest interviews, security management, security negligence, and retail loss prevention. Eric was also the recipient of the 2018 Julia Humbles Civil Rights Award for his investigative work on local and high profiled cases.

Eric is currently a licensed Private Investigator in Georgia, and a Georgia licensed Private Investigator Instructor and Firearms Trainer, as well as, a Georgia Certified Process Server. Eric is also a licensed Private Investigator in Tennessee. He previously served on the board at the American InterContinental University (AIU) Criminal Justice Program, Advisory Board Member, past Board Member and Vice President with the Georgia Association of Professional Process Servers (GAPPS), past Chapter Chair and Board Member with the Georgia Association of Professional Private Investigator (GAPPI).

Patricia Echols is a founding partner of TFP Company, LLC. She is an accomplished, seasoned Private Investigator with over fifteen years’ experience and with over 30 years of extensive legal experience as a trial paralegal, which makes her one of the leaders in investigations and research.

Patricia has a wide range of paralegal experience working with insurance defense law firms in the areas of real estate, education, bankruptcy, personal injury, labor and employment, complex class actions, premises liability, construction defects, healthcare compliance, and product liability. She has worked on local and national publicly lawsuits and trials in San Diego, Los Angeles, Raleigh, and Atlanta for top mid-size to large-size law firms. Patricia also served as a legal administrator and trainer to first-year attorneys, paralegals, and Summer law clerks in the law firms she worked.

Patricia attended Spelman College and San Diego State University, studying economics. She is currently a Georgia license Private Investigator, as well as a Georgia Certified Process Server. She trained in Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates’ Advance Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques and The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation.

Patricia is currently a member of the National Council of Investigation & Security Services (NCISS), and the Georgia Association of Professional Private Investigator (GAPPI). She previously served on the University of Georgia SBDC Advisory Council and Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) and served on the GMSDC Professional Services Committee. She also volunteered with Communities in Schools of Marietta/Cobb County, Inc. as a mentor for high school students. Patricia regularly speaks on investigations best practices at local seminars and conferences.
